The Zipp 454 NSW Carbon Tubeless Rim Brake Rear Wheel offers spades of versatility, performing admirably in challenging group rides across varied topography, fast road races and solo efforts against the clock. The rim is realised in a high grade of carbon fibre to ensure an excellent stiffness to weight ratio, while its distinctive, undulating SawTooth profile varies its depth between 53 and 58mm to lower aerodynamic drag and heighten crosswind stability. The irregular shape of the rim also improves lateral stiffness, quickening its response to the rider’s accelerations.

HexFin ABLC dimples on the rim’s surface further cut wind resistance, and its Showstopper brake track has a textured surface to improve rim brake power and control in all conditions. The hub spins smoothly on high-quality bearings and integrates an Axial Clutch freehub to lower friction while freewheeling and afford near-instant pedalling engagement. Sapim CX-Ray spokes complete the build and are laced in a reliable two-cross pattern.
